You get off at West Footscray, not Footscray. Walk Barkly to 1/578. Harley and Rose is 572, pizza. Migrant Coffee is 576. Aangan is 559. You want the wine shop that also sits. House happy hour is Wednesday to Saturday 5pm to 6pm, natural oysters $2.50 each on the live card. Cocktails if wine was not the job. Beer if Hop Nation in the fridge was easier. Dogs in the courtyard if that was the sitting. If you wanted pizza, Harley and Rose after 5pm, not Sunday or Monday. If you wanted bagels, Migrant Coffee, not Wednesday, and not after 2pm. If you wanted 3011 wine plates, Thyme, closed Monday and Tuesday, Saturday from 12pm.
Stay long enough to taste the glass on its own terms. Drink it here. A bottle walking to the station is honest only if you meant takeaway. After 10pm the block is done. A Sunday arrival is the wrong clock, not the wrong street. You sat because 3012 still wanted a wine shop that would also feed you oysters.
