Bar Josephine is known as the Barkly maze: a front bar that opens onto pool, a fairy-light garden, a balcony you will lose a friend on, daily from 1pm.
You walk Barkly from the station toward Seddon. 295 is the dive fascia. 297 is Second Hand Dealer, cocktails from 5pm, closed Monday and Tuesday. You want the room that opens at 1pm every day. Inside it is bus seats, worn books, knick-knacks Donato calls family heirlooms. Broadsheet, updated 9 June 2022, named porcelain cups his mother made, a rustic bar top cut with a portable sawmill, 1970s Italian splashback tiles from De Fazio. Last trains. 1am close is later than Thyme and earlier than a mythic club district this suburb does not have. Build the platform into the last pint.
