Barkly job suite. Bring the letter. Not Shop 40.
Location
What people get wrong
Suite 2, 186 Barkly. House phone (03) 9689 6344. Some directories print 6333. Confirm. WISE is Metro West Shop 40. This is not Services Australia. We last walked this on 2026-09-21. Hours move with the week. Checking the shopfront keeps the night easy.
What is MatchWorks Footscray known for?
MatchWorks Footscray is known as the 186 suite: a Barkly job coach, a letter that names this provider, a queue that is not Shop 40 in the plaza and not the Moore Street Centrelink line.
You walk from Footscray station along Barkly to Suite 2 at 186, a few doors from Australia Post at 182, not into Metro West and not to 75 Moore. The house page still prints Suite 2, 186 Barkly, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, (03) 9689 6344. House copy names Workforce Australia mentoring and training, plus Inclusive Employment Australia for disability, injury or health conditions. MatchWorks is part of genU and Karingal St Laurence. Head office is 21-29 Reynolds Road, Highton. ABN 74 614 366 031. Registered training organisation TOID 5553. That is the door, not WISE at Shop 40 Metro West and not Services Australia at 75 Moore.
This is not a post shop. 182 is VicRoads photos and parcels. This is not Chemist Warehouse on the same run. The photograph leftover on this page is MatchWorks staff in the Footscray office with Lunar New Year decorations, posted by MatchWorksAU and captioned as this door. It is not WISE. It is not a Dandenong mural. Confirm Suite 2 on the glass.
You came because the letter named MatchWorks, or because an employer sent you to 186, and because a parent who queued at Shop 40 with a MatchWorks letter is how a morning dies. Two providers. Two buildings. Stay on 186. The suite number is the tell. A plaza directory that says WISE is not this file. The desk will coach a job plan. It will not pay a Centrelink claim because 75 Moore is a different building. It will not take a licence photo because 182 is next door, a different till. It will not enrol you in AMEP because AMES is 37 Albert.
What should you bring to MatchWorks Footscray?
You should bring the job-plan letter if you have one, ID, and any medical or visa papers the coach asked for.
Call (03) 9689 6344 before you take time off work. Do not invent eligibility. If the letter says WISE, Shop 40 Metro West, 1800 161 231. If you needed Centrelink, 75 Moore. If you needed a licence photo, 182 Barkly. If you needed AMES, 37 Albert. Ask language when you book. Do not assume the Barkly suite and the plaza suite share a file. They do not.
Stay long enough to match Suite 2 and (03) 9689 6344. Street parking is short. Do not use Albert plaza parking and then hunt Shop 40. That is WISE. After dark, leave via the station or Hopkins. Barkly is the lit spine.
Bring the question. These services are government-funded. Do not pay a private course because a Facebook ad sat next to the MatchWorks name. Book through the letter. National 1300 13 23 63 if the local line fails. Leftover listing copy also printed reception.footscray@matchworks.com.au. The live location page we fetched prints the phone, not that inbox. Use 6344 until they hand you an email.
Hours, letters and queues at MatchWorks Footscray
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, house. Call (03) 9689 6344. Last checked 2026-09-21.
Wheree and Whereis have printed (03) 9689 6333 for this pin. Directories that print 6333 are not the house line we used. Confirm 6344 on the letter. The old card already named Suite 2. The new work is the 6333 hedge and the WISE split.
Do not invent a Saturday window because Barkly is loud. Do not copy WISE weekday contact hours onto this suite as if the two clocks were one file. A 5:10pm weekday walk-in is already too late on the printed card. Public holidays shuffle government desks. Call before you take time off work. The letter names the provider. The letter is the job.
How do you get to MatchWorks Footscray?
You get to MatchWorks by walking from Footscray station along Barkly Street to Suite 2 at 186, a job suite a few doors from the post shop, not Shop 40 Metro West and not 75 Moore.
Match Suite 2 and (03) 9689 6344. The Lunar New Year office photo is this door. Confirm MatchWorks lettering on the glass. Street parking is short. After dark, leave via the station or Hopkins.
If you wanted WISE, Shop 40, Level 1 Metro West, 1800 161 231. If you wanted Centrelink, 75 Moore. If you wanted a licence photo, 182 Barkly. This listing is Suite 2 only. A 406 that dumps you at VU Park is the hospital edge, a different job. Walk Barkly if the letter says MatchWorks. Walk Albert if the letter says WISE. Do not mash them because both say job plan. The post shop will not coach the caseload. The Centrelink queue will not change your provider tonight. Chemist Warehouse on this run is a chemist, not a job desk.
What do people mix up about MatchWorks Footscray?
They walk to Shop 40, or they take a MatchWorks letter to 75 Moore, or they dial 6333, and they miss a Suite 2 desk that still wants (03) 9689 6344 and the letter that names MatchWorks.
